Every editor will have a different editing process so make sure you check with them on what theirs is.

You reach out to me. Either send me a message via Facebook or Instagram, Email me, or fill out the Get Started Form.
You can attach a sample or not.
I will get back to you within 24hrs. I try not to take this long, but some days you just need time away from a screen.
I’m faster at answering through messages, but I don’t always hear my phone.
We will chat about what you are looking for and what you want and I will work on your sample edit.
Sample edits are done within 48 hours unless I need some extra time. I will let you know if extra time is needed before I begin the sample.
I email the sample back with a copy of my contract.
You will go through everything, compare me to other editors and make your decisions.

We will discuss pricing, payment, and delivery.
Once I have the final document, I will create the contract and send it through Adobe for signatures.
You will make the deposit payment via PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, Cash, or Wise.
I get to work.
I don’t give updates, but if you need them or want them, please let me know. We can discuss a weekly or bi-weekly update.
I do not work in the same document as you do. I will work offline in Microsoft Word, so you will not see anything until the final document is delivered.
I’ll let you know when it is done!
Sometimes I get the work done early. If this happens, I will let you know and can send the document early if the final payment can be made early.
You make the final payment and I send you the completed MS.
Unless we are contracted for a payment plan. In which case I will send over the manuscript when I receive the agreed upon payment.
